More proof that things aren't always as they seem. Use a ruler to measure and confirm they are straight and horizontal.

and almost close your eyes and they become straight. Or look from a
distance and tilt your head sideways. Once the visual cues can't be
clearly seen, your brain doesn't make false assumptions.
